YOGA WITH AMALIA

My vision of Yoga

Yoga is the oldest system of personal development, encompassing the body, mind, and spirit. Through a combination of yoga postures, breathing techniques, and relaxation, practicing yoga will strengthen and tone muscles, reduce stress, relieve chronic pain and enhance your immune system, creating optimal health, greater understanding, and inner peace.

You can enjoy the benefits at any age or level of practice. By yoga practice the level of physical vitality rises, it clear emotional blockages and awaken your entusiasm and joy for life.

My vision of a True Yogi is someone who approaches his or her entire life with an open heart and mind with Love & Compassion.

I´ve realized that people in the West often define ourselves by the goals we set. And many of us miss the process that took us to reach those goals. But Yoga is a process. There is no goal- it just simply is , so is life.

I think that yoga postures, or asanas, are forms of mind training down into every fibre, every pore, every cell of the body. When the practice really penetrates all our cells, we extend out beyond the confines of our individual identities

How yoga came into my life
I have been practicing yoga for over 12 years and has been teaching yoga for over 4 years. And I received my Teacher Training Course at The International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Organization whose purpose is to propagate the teachings of Yoga and Vedanta as a means of achieving physical, mental and spiritual well being and Self-realization.

I traveled  from Madrid to Montreal four years ago to deepen in my Yoga practice and to become Ama Deus healer, counselor and Thai Yoga Massage practitioner while I was volunteering at the IIIHS, The International Institute of Integral Human Sciences which is a non-governmental organization affiliated with the United Nations DPI, promoting educational programs for the 21st century. I have been presenting classes and workshops both Dance and yoga and became certified in Spiritual and Psychic Sciences and other Holistic Centers. I am just landed again in Madrid after some traveling in Canada, France and Portugal. This Trip has enrriched my Soul and I have so much to share.

Private Instruction and Yoga Life Coaching

While Yoga classes are an effective way of learning and practicing, there may come a time when a student needs can best be served in a one-on-one relationship with a teacher.

In the private yoga sessions I offer, I devote my undivided attention to your yoga practice, tailoring the session to your individual needs. Private yoga classes can take you further in your practice than a group class can.

Private yoga sessions are an excellent way to achieve the benefits of yoga, track your individual progress, and save time by never having to leave home. Each Hatha Yoga class is designed specifically for you, and will focus on exercises for your body type, taking into consideration your fitness level, stress level, and your personal goals. Get more hands on attention than you will ever get at a public class.

Yoga Life Coaching is for those wishing to live a more harmonious and peaceful life and maybe you would like to try a combined session.

If you have come to a crossroads in your life and you are seeking to fulfill your dreams, achieve specific goals, or simply want to feel good and live in a way that is less stressful.

Yoga Life Coaching offers you a very personalized support in bringing self-awareness and conscious living into everyday life, it shares the core yogic concepts that direct a person to look within to find happiness and fulfillment.

Yoga Life Coaching is a service for emotionally healthy individuals who are not in need of "fixing" nor are they told what they should do. Clients are perceived as being whole and capable of finding their optimal course of action when they are guided through the process of self-observation, exploring alternative perspectives, and making conscious choices for themselves a very practical and empowering way to help individuals become attuned to their roles as co-creators in their lives with the Divine.

My goals as a yoga teacher
I have learned that yoga is much more than exercise. Yoga helps us mentally to empty our minds and pay closer attention to what is going on in our lives. As you practice yoga you find that you learn a great deal about yourself and who you are. You find a feeling of relaxation and peace that you'll want to bring into your everyday life on and off the mat.

As a teacher, my goal is to instruct a class that is easy for the beginner and yet challenging enough for the advanced practitioner. Students can modify their yoga practice to their own needs or limitations. A student should feel good leaving a yoga class and have the desire to come back for more. As the student gains more practice, he or she will learn about some the deeper meaning yoga has to offer.
